iQOO Z10 Turbo Tipped to Launch in India With 7000mAh Battery and Dimensity 8400 Chip

As iQOO prepares for the official launch of the Z10 5G in India on April 11, fresh leaks are stirring speculation about another addition to the Z-series lineup. According to a report by tipster Paras Guglani, the company may be lining up a Z10 Turbo Edition shortly after the Z10 5G’s debut.

The leaked details hint at a device with a stronger focus on performance and battery life, possibly positioning the Z10 Turbo as a more endurance-focused companion to the standard Z10.

iQOO Z10 Turbo Tipped to Launch in India: Check Expected Specs

Memory, Colors, and Battery Capacity: What We Know So Far

The device—reportedly carrying model number I2408—could be launched in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants, both featuring 256GB of internal storage. Color options may include Gold and Silver, staying consistent with iQOO's existing visual identity for its mid-range line.

One of the most attention-grabbing aspects is the battery capacity. For India, the leak points to a 7,000mAh battery, which would put the Z10 Turbo among a small group of smartphones offering such high capacity. Meanwhile, some sources claim the Chinese version may house a 7,600mAh battery, though such regional differences aren't new to the industry.

Display, Cameras, and Build Materials

The Z10 Turbo is rumored to sport a 6.78-inch flat OLED LTPS display with a 1.5K resolution—a slight step up from standard FHD+ screens. The front camera may offer 16 megapixels, while the rear setup could include a 50MP primary sensor paired with a basic 2MP secondary lens.

The build is expected to include a plastic mid-frame and a short-focus in-display fingerprint sensor.

MediaTek and 90W Fast Charging in Play

At the core of the Z10 Turbo could be MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 chipset, a relatively new entrant that aims to compete with mid-to-upper mid-tier Qualcomm processors. If true, this could give the device an edge in gaming and multitasking.

Charging speeds are expected to be aggressive as well. The leak mentions 90W fast charging support, which—combined with a large battery—suggests the phone could offer long usage hours with relatively short top-ups.

Will It Launch in India?

While iQOO has confirmed the Z10 5G for the Indian market, the Z10 Turbo hasn’t been officially acknowledged. However, considering the frequency of leaks and the strategy behind staggered launches, it wouldn’t be surprising if iQOO chooses to announce the Turbo Edition within weeks of the base model's release.
