Vivo's sub-brand iQOO has confirmed the launch date of the iQOO Z7 Pro in India, which belongs to the iQOO Z7 series. Let's look at the specifications, features, expected price, and availability of the upcoming smartphone iQOO.

iQOO Z7 Pro Official Launch, Availability, And Price In India

iQOO will launch the iQOO Z7 Pro, a 5G-enabled Android smartphone in India, at the end of this month. The brand has been sending invites for an event scheduled on August 31, 2023.

Amazon India has a microsite dedicated to the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G. In other words, the upcoming iQOO smartphone will be sold exclusively on Amazon.

The iQOO Z7 Pro could be priced slightly above the ₹25,000 mark, while its top-end variant could be priced slightly below ₹30,000. If the indicative price is accurate, the iQOO Z7 Pro should compete with the top-end variant of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G, Realme 11 Pro 5G, OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G, and other similarly priced 5G Android smartphones in India.

iQOO Z7 Pro 5G Specifications, Features (Leaked)

The iQOO Z7 series is expected to include the entry-level iQOO Z7 and the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G. A leak recently claimed the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G will feature the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset packs eight cores, with the peak performance core clocked at 2.8GHz. The chipset has been manufactured on the 4nm fabrication process, and hence, it is quite thermally efficient.

iQOO has started to tease the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G smartphone. The brand has confirmed that the Z7 Pro 5G will feature a curved display with a hole-punch cutout at the top center for the front camera.

The Z7 Pro 5G is expected to 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The 1080p screen is tipped to support a 120Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

The iQOO Z7 Pro 5G should launch in two models: 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage.

The upcoming iQOO smartphone is rumored to pack a 4600mAh battery, with support for 66W FlashCharge wired fast charging. It should boot Android 13 with Funtouch OS 13 custom layer out of the box.

iQOO has reportedly embedded a dual camera setup on the back of the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G, presumably headlined by a 64MP primary camera sensor, which could be accompanied by a 2MP macro camera. The mid-range Android smartphone is tipped to feature a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

The iQOO Z7 Pro 5G should have an under-display fingerprint scanner. However, there's no indication of a 3.5mm headphone jack or any IP rating for dust and water resistance.
