iQOO Z8x Final Specifications, Features Leak: SD6 Gen 1 SoC, 12GB RAM, FHD+ Screen, And More Tipped

iQOO is expected to announce the iQOO Z8 series smartphones next month. Now, the full specifications and features of the iQOO Z8x have leaked online.

The entry-level iQOO Z8x, the middle-level iQOO Z8, and the top-end iQOO Z8 Pro have been appearing in multiple certifications, benchmarking, and "supported devices" listings. Let's look at the specifications, features, launch, expected price, and availability of the latest mid-range Android smartphone from iQOO.

iQOO Z8x Specifications, Features

According to the latest leak, iQOO would initially launch the iQOO Z8 and the iQOO Z8x. These devices have secured China's 3C certification and have appeared on Geekbench as well. While the iQOO Z8 bears the model number V2314A, the iQOO Z8x is referred to as the V2312A.

According to the latest leak, the iQOO Z8x 5G has a 6.64-inch Full HD+ flat LCD panel with a centrally aligned punch-hole. The screen has a 2388 x 1080 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, claims the leak.

As IQOO has used IPS LCD panels instead of AMOLED screens, the presence of a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, instead of an under-display one, seems a logical choice.

The iQOO Z8x will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, which is a decent midrange 5G-enabled chipset. It will be paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Some reports suggest the entry-level variant of the iQOO Z8x will feature 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The iQOO Z8x smartphone is tipped to feature a triple rear camera setup, headlined by an OIS-enabled 64MP primary camera, which will be paired with a dual 2MP macro and depth lenses system. There will be a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

Perhaps one of the biggest highlights of the iQOO Z8x would be the 6000mAh battery. iQOO has, however, restricted this smartphone to 44W wired fast charging, which is even lower than the 80W charging speed supported by the iQOO Z7x.

All the smartphones in the iQOO Z8 series should run Android 13-based Origin OS 3.0. They will feature a USB-C port as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.

iQOO Z8x Launch, Expected Price, And Availability

The iQOO Z8x should be available in vibrant shades of Black, Blue, and Isle of Man Green color options. iQOO is expected to launch the iQOO Z8 series early next month.

iQOO is yet to launch the iQOO Z7 Pro in India. Hence, it is possible that Vivo's sub-brand will delay the availability of the iQOO Z8 series in the country. However, based on the specifications, the iQOO Z8x could be available below ₹18,000 in India if or when it launches.
