iQOO Z8x Surfaces On Geekbench With SD 6 G1 SoC: How Does It Compare With The iQOO Z7x?
The IQOO Z8x has surfaced in a Geekbench listing. It appears the Vivo's sub-brand is offering decent upgrades, which shouldn't push the price much higher than its predecessor, the iQOO Z7x.
iQOO should launch the successor to the feature-packed iQOO Z7x this month. The iQOO Z8 series smartphones should comprise the entry-level iQOO Z8x, iQOO Z8, and presumably even the iQOO Z8 Pro. Let's look at the leaked details of the upcoming 5G-enabled mid-range Android smartphone from iQOO.

iQOO Z8x Key Specifications Leak Via Geekbench Listing
The iQOO Z8x has surfaced on Geekbench. The listing reveals the upcoming iQOO smartphone is codenamed "V2312A". It has a motherboard codenamed "parrot".
The upcoming iQOO smartphone is powered by an octa-core chipset. Four Performance cores are clocked at 2.21GHz, while the remaining four Efficiency cores are clocked at 1.80GHz.

The abovementioned specifications correlate to the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. This same chipset powers the Moto G Stylus (2023), Oppo F22 Pro, and Honor X50.
The capable mid-range chipset in the iQOO Z8x is paired with 7.22 or 8GB of RAM. The iQOO smartphone managed 968 in single-core tests and 2851 in multi-core tests.
The mystery iQOO smartphone, believed to be the upcoming iQOO Z8x, is running Android 13 OS. However, iQOO should slap its own Funtouch OS 13 on top, at the time of the smartphone's launch.
iQOO Z8x Expected Launch, Price, And Availability In India
iQOO launched the iQOO Z7 series earlier this year. The iQOO Z7 and the iQOO Z7x have been available since March 2023. Simply put, these feature-packed midrange Android smartphones aren't even six months old yet.
iQOO appears to be testing the iQOO Z8 series. Hence, it is possible the brand could launch the iQOO Z8x in the fourth quarter of this year. Needless to mention, iQOO should launch the iQOO Z8 series first in China, and then gradually release smartphones in different markets, including India.
The iQOO Z7x 5G smartphone isn't available in India, however, its China variant packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. The iQOO Z8x, with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, 8GB RAM, and 128GB RAM, could be priced slightly above the ₹20,000 mark if or when it launches in India.
