iQOO Z9 5G With MediaTek Dimensity 7200 India Launch Confirmed

iQOO is all set to launch the iQOO Z9 5G in India. A dedicated microsite of the upcoming iQOO Z9 5G has gone live on iQOO India's website, confirming its key features.

The launch date hasn't been revealed yet. However, a report by 91Mobiles Hindi revealed that the iQOO Z9 5G India launch will take place in early March. Additionally, the Amazon microsite also confirms the device will go on sale via e-commerce site.

iQOO Z9 5G: What to Expect?

The iQOO Z9 5G is confirmed to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset. The brand also shared that the smartphone managed to score 734K points on the AnTuTu V10 benchmarking platform.

The official teaser also confirms there will be a dual rear camera setup at the rear panel. It is claimed to be the first device in the segment to come with a Sony IMX882 sensor for the primary camera which will also support OIS.

The phone was seen in a Green shade. It is also expected to get a Blue color variant. Other features of the iQOO Z9 5G are still under wraps. Going by rumours, the phone is said to sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.

The phone will offer a 50MP main camera and a secondary sensor. The upcoming mid-range handset is expected to run on Funtouch OS 14 and will likely pack 44W fast charging. As for price, the handset is tipped to come under Rs. 25,000 in India.

Also, live images of the iQOO Z9 5G revealed the back panel will have a brushed pattern. At the front, the phone will feature a punch-hole cutout to house the selfie camera. The volume rocker and power button of the iQOO Z9 will be placed on the right side.

The speaker grills and USB Type-C port will be on the lower edge of the device. Earlier, the phone appeared on the Geekbench listing, which revealed the iQOO Z9 will ship with 8GB RAM and Android 14 OS. We suggest our readers take it as a hint and wait for the official announcement.
