iQOO Z9 Series Launching at 04:30 pm Today: How to Watch the Livestream? What to Expect?

iQOO is gearing up to unveil two smartphones in its Z series later today. The iQOO Z9 Turbo and iQOO Z9x follow the launch of the iQOO Z9 5G. However, today's launch event will be China centric.

The iQOO Z9 Turbo will take center stage at the event, debuting as the first smartphone from the brand to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. While it hasn't been listed on the dedicated launch page, the iQOO Z9 5G is also expected to make its debut at today's event.

iQOO Z9 Launch Event: How to Watch Live?

The iQOO Z9 series is launching in China later today at 07:00 pm local time or 04:30 pm IST. You can watch the iQOO Z9 series launch event on the company's official Weibo handle or website in China. Here's an official livestream link.

iQOO Z9 Series: What to Expect?

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset on the iQOO Z9 Turbo will get VC cooling with a 6Kmm2 surface area. Moreover, the iQOO Z9 Turbo will also sport a 144Hz C8 OLED display with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The iQOO Z9, Z9 Turbo, and Z9x will also pack a 6,000 mAh battery.

While the iQOO Z9 and Z9 Turbo will support 80W wired fast charging, the iQOO Z9x could be downgraded to 40W. The vanilla iQOO Z9 is expected to use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, while the Z9x 5G may opt for the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.

The iQOO Z9 and Z9 Turbo are also expected to feature a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS support. The vanilla model will likely feature a 2 MP secondary sensor, while the Turbo variant could opt for an 8 MP ultrawide shooter. Up front, both variants may use a 16 MP selfie camera.

The iQOO Z9 Turbo will also incorporate Vivo's Blue Heart AI. The iQOO Z9 series will feature an IP64 rating for resistance to dust and water. Additionally, the Turbo model will also use a dual-chip strategy to boost frame rates in games and ensure peak sustained performance.
