iQOO Z9 Turbo+ Set to Launch on September 24; Dimensity 9300 Plus and 6,400mAh Battery Confirmed

iQOO is gearing up to launch the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ next week in China. The brand has now confirmed the launch date and provided a few details about the upcoming Z series handset. Here's what to expect from the iQOO Z9 Turbo+.

iQOO Z9 Turbo+ Launch Date Announced

The iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is confirmed to launch on September 24 in China. The official poster also reveals the device will be powered by the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset and is claimed to achive AnTuTu score of 2,387,855. The chip is said to run the game ''Zenless Zone Zero'' for 30 minutes at a 58.5fps frame rate.

The Z9 Turbo+ will pack a 6,400mAh battery, while the predecessor iQOO Z9 Turbo comes with a 6,000mAh battery. However, the upcoming Plus variant will have the same 80W charging support as the iQOO Z9 Turbo.

Moreover, rumours suggested the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ might come with a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will likely run OriginOS-based Android 14.

For imaging, it could feature a 50MP OIS-enabled main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Upfront, the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is expected to get a 16MP selfie camera sensor. The phone is also tipped to come with a slim design, measuring just 7.9mm.

As of now, there is no word regarding the pricing of the iQOO Z9 Turbo+. We expect it could be priced higher or similar to the iQOO Z9 Turbo which was launched starting at CNY 1,999 (around Rs 24,000) for the base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. Since there is no official word on the same, it's better to take it with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for the official announcement on September 24.
