iQOO Z9 Turbo With 80W Charging Launch on Cards; Coming to India?

iQOO is on a launch spree, it recently introduced two smartphones in the Indian market including the iQOO Z9 5G. Fresh reports hint that the company is planning to launch a high-end model of the iQOO Z9 named the Z9 Turbo soon.

The company has not revealed anything regarding the upcoming iQOO Z9 Turbo. The features of the smartphone have appeared online. Also, the phone was spotted on China's CQC certification, revealing its charging speed.

iQOO Z9 Turbo Expected Features and Launch

According to the tipster Digital Chat Station, the iQOO Z9 Turbo could have a flat 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with support for a 144Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor paired with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage configuration.

Further, the phone is tipped to pack a 6,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It might ship with Android 14-based OriginOS 4 and a 50MP dual rear camera setup as the regular iQOO Z9. As far as the launch is concerned, the iQOO Z9 Turbo is expected to go official next month.

There is no information regarding India's launch at this moment. The recently launched iQOO Z9 is available for purchase in the country which starts at Rs 19,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model.

The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version is selling for Rs 21,999. It is offered in Brushed Green and Graphene Blue colour options. If you are looking for a mid-range phone with pure specs, the iQOO Z9 can be worth buying. The phone has a polycarbonate body with a glossy finish at the rear panel.

In terms of features, it includes the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 5G SoC, a 120Hz AMOLED panel, and a 50MP dual camera. The phone runs Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14 and promises to provide three years of security updates.
