iQOO Z9s Series Launched in India With AI Features and Up to 80W Fast Charging; Price Starts at Rs 19,999

iQOO has announced the Z9s series comprising the standard iQOO Z9s and the Z9s Pro in India. Both smartphones come with 3D curved AMOLED displays, two years of major Android updates and 5500mAh battery units. The iQOO Z9s series also offers AI features such as AI Erase, AI Photo Enhance, and more. Let's take a look at the features and pricing of both the iQOO Z9s and the Z9s Pro.

iQOO Z9s and Z9s Pro Features

Starting with the iQOO Z9s, which has a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2392×1080 pixels) AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, and a 1,800 nits peak brightness. The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of native storage.

For imaging, there is a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS support and a 2MP secondary camera. Upfront, the standard iQOO Z9s opts for a 16MP selfie camera. Moreover, the device packs a 5,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. On the software front, it runs on Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14 and is confirmed to get two years of Android updates and three years of security updates. The phone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

On the other hand, the iQOO Z9s Pro sports the same 6.67-inch FHD+ (2392×1080 pixels) curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate as the standard variant; however, it supports a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The Pro model gets its power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of ROM.

While the iQOO Z9s Pro supports 80W fast charging, it shares the same battery, software, 50MP main camera, and selfie camera as the standard model. It includes an 8MP ultra-wide camera instead of the 2MP sensor featured on the iQOO Z9s. Other aspects of the iQOO Z9s Pro include an IP64 rating, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and Wi-Fi 6 for connectivity.

iQOO Z9s and Z9s Pro Price and Sale Date in India

The iQOO Z9s price in India starts at Rs 19,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Both the 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB models of the standard iQOO Z9s are priced at Rs 21,999 and Rs 23,999, respectively. The handset comes in two colour options namely - Titanium Matte and Onyx Green. It will be available for purchase starting August 29 via Amazon and iQOO's online store.

On the other hand, the iQOO Z9s Pro price starts at Rs 24,999 for the 8GB/128GB model, while both the 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB variants are priced at Rs 26,999 and Rs 28,999, respectively. The Pro model is offered in Luxe Marble and Flamboyant Orange with vegan leather back panel options. It will go on sale starting August 23 via Amazon and iQOO's online store.
