The iQOO Z9x 5G will go on sale today (May 21) at 12 PM via Amazon. The price of the phone starts at Rs 12,999 for the base 4GB/128GB model, Rs 14,499 for the 6GB/128GB and Rs 15,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant.

There is an instant discount of Rs 1,000 on SBI and ICICI Bank card transactions, which brings the starting price down to Rs 11,999. Moreover, there is an additional coupon discount of Rs 500 on both the 6GB and 8GB variants.

The iQOO Z9x 5G is offered in Storm Grey and Tornado Green colour options.

The iQOO Z9x 5G is claimed to be the fastest phone in the segment, featuring the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone has a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.

The iQOO Z9x 5G is India's slimmest phone with a massive 6,000 mAh battery that is claimed to offer two days of battery backup on a single charge and comes with 44W fast charging support. The phone runs Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 with iQOO promising two years of Android OS updates and three years of regular security patches with the new iQOO Z9x 5G.

For imaging, the smartphone has a dual-camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP bokeh camera. Up front, there's an 8MP selfie camera. Other features of the phone include a side-mounted fingerprint reader and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
