iQOO Z9x 5G Launched in India with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, 120Hz Display: Price, Specs, Offers

iQOO just dropped another budget smartphone in India. The iQOO Z9x 5G recently debuted in the country's affordable 5G smartphone segment to compete against the likes of the Vivo T3x 5G, Realme 12x 5G, and Samsung Galaxy F15 5G.

The iQOO Z9x 5G features a Snapdragon chipset, a super-smooth display, a massive battery with fast charging support, the latest software, and a dual-camera setup. Here's everything you need to know about the iQOO Z9x 5G.

The iQOO Z9x 5G price in India starts from Rs 12,999 for the base 4GB/128GB model. Additionally, the handset will also be offered in a 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB variant that will set you back Rs 14,499 and Rs 15,999, respectively.

The iQOO Z9x 5G will go on sale in India through Amazon and iQOO.com starting May 21 at 12 noon. Customers with ICICI Bank or SBI credit and debit cards can get an instant discount of Rs 1,000 on the iQOO Z9x 5G.

Amazon and iQOO.com are offering a further discount coupon worth Rs 500 on the 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB variants of the iQOO Z9x 5G. The iQOO Z9x 5G comes in Storm Grey and Tornado Green color options.

The iQOO Z9x 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone packs a massive 6,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. It also boasts an IP64 rating for resistance to dust and water.

On the back, the iQOO Z9x opts for a dual-camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP bokeh camera. Up front, there's an 8 MP selfie camera with an f/2.05 aperture. The iQOO Z9x 5G comes with stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

iQOO's upcoming affordable smartphone sports a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a pixel density of 393 PPI and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The display also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and is TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certified.

The handset runs Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 out of the box. iQOO also promises two years of Android OS updates and three years of regular security patches with the Z9x 5G. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB Type-C port, GPS, 5G, 4G LTE, and more.
