iQOO Z9x 5G Launching on May 16 in India; Here’s How Much It May Cost

iQOO has confirmed the launch of the Z9x 5G in India. The phone was recently spotted on the company website's accessories support page, suggesting an imminent launch. Now, the launch date and the Amazon availability have been confirmed. Here is everything you should know about the upcoming iQOO Z9x 5G.

iQOO Z9x 5G India Launch on May 16

iQOO India's CEO Nipun Marya has confirmed that the iQOO Z9x 5G is launching on May 16 in the country. Besides, a dedicated microsite for the smartphone has gone live on Amazon, confirming its availability on the platform.

The spare parts pricing details of the phone were also spotted on the company's India website, revealing that the upcoming iQOO Z9x 5G will be available with three storage configurations - 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB.

iQOO Z9x 5G Expected Price and Features in India

The official teaser confirms the phone will have a dual rear camera system along with an LED flash. For the unaware, the handset is already available in the Chinese market. Given that, we expect the iQOO Z9x 5G will feature a 6.72-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.

The iQOO Z9x is believed to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and to feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button. The phone will likely come with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

For imaging, the iQOO Z9x 5G will include a 50MP main camera and an 8MP selfie camera at the front. The device will pack a 6,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging. It will also include dual stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity. Further, the Z9x 5G will measure 7.99mm in thickness and weigh 199 grams.

As far as the price is concerned, the iQOO Z9x 5G is expected to come with a starting price of Rs 15,000. However, it's better to take it with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for the official announcement. To recall, the iQOO Z9x 5G price in China starts at CNY 1,499 (around Rs 10,900).
