Is Apple Working on a Foldable iPhone?
LG to mass-produce foldable displays for Apple.
According to a new report from a South Korean website called ETNews, LG is reportedly mass-producing foldable displays for Apple iPhones in 2018. Interestingly enough, alongside Apple, LG will also produce foldable displays for Google and Microsoft’s flagship devices set for 2018 launch.
Foldable displays have always intrigued smartphone vendors but things never materialized. As it turns out, that may change soon with LG approving to mass produce foldable displays for the upcoming smartphones in 2018. For those who are not aware, LG has been working on foldable displays for a while now. It had also showcased a few foldable display prototypes in the past.
