itel A70 entry-level smartphone launched in India with Unisoc Chip, Android 13 Go Edition

itel recently dropped a new entry-level smartphone in India. The itel A70 is the latest smartphone from the brand and arrives in the country's ultra-affordable market.

The itel A70 features a Unisoc chipset, an HD+ display, a dual-camera setup, and a large battery. The itel A70 also runs on Android 13 Go Edition.

The itel A70 price in India is yet to be revealed, although we expect the device to be priced anywhere between Rs 7,000 and Rs 10,000. The itel A70 comes in Brilliant Gold, Stylish Black, Field Green, and Azure Blue colors.

The itel A70 is powered by the Unisoc T603 SoC and comes in three memory options, which include 3GB of RAM and 128GB of storage or 4GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. Additionally, up to 4GB of unused storage can be utilized as virtual RAM.

The itel A70 sports a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 60Hz refresh rate and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. The display also features a 20:9 aspect ratio and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The screen also features a Dynamic Bar, which works like the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 15 series and iPhone 14 Pro models.

For optics, the itel A70 gets a 13 MP primary camera sensor paired with a secondary AI lens. Up front, the device opts for an 8 MP selfie camera. The itel A70 also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with USB Type-C charging. itel's latest budget smartphone also runs Android 13 Go Edition out of the box.
