itel S23+, itel P55 5G affordable smartphones launched in India: Price, Specs, Availability

itel has officially unveiled two new smartphones in India. The two new devices include the itel S23+ and itel P55 5G. The itel S23+ makes its debut as a feature-rich 4G smartphone, while the itel P55 5G debuts as one of India's most affordable 5G handsets.

The itel S23+ arrives with a Unisoc chipset, a curved AMOLED display, a large battery, and a Hi-Res front camera. The itel P55 5G, on the other hand, is an ultra-affordable 5G smartphone with a MediaTek chip, a high-refresh-rate panel, and a large battery.

The itel S23+ price in India is set at Rs 13,999 for the sole 8GB/256GB model. The itel P55 5G price in India is set at Rs 9,699 for the base 4GB/64GB variant and Rs 9,999 for the 6GB/128GB configuration.

The itel S23+ is offered in Elemental Blue and Lake Cyan color options, while the itel P55 5G comes in Galaxy Blue and Mint shades. The itel S23+ will be available for purchase through Amazon on October 6, while the itel P55 5G will go on sale in the country from October 4.

The itel P55 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC paired with the Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. The phone comes with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The phone runs on Android 13 with itel OS 13 on top. The itel P55 5G packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

The itel P55 5G sports a 6.6-inch HD+ ISP LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. For optics, the itel P55 5G gets a dual-rear camera with a 50 MP primary sensor and a secondary AI lens. Up front, the device opts for an 8 MP selfie camera. The handset supports 10 5G bands.
