itel S24 Launched in India with MediaTek Helio G91 SoC, 108 MP Camera, 90Hz Display: Price, Specs

itel recently dropped a new budget smartphone in India. The itel S24 debuts as an affordable 4G smartphone, although given its price, it finds itself in the budget 5G league.

The itel S24 features a MediaTek chipset, a high-res primary camera sensor, a smooth display, a large battery with fast charging support, and DTS speakers. itel also unveiled a new pair of true wireless earbuds alongside its budget smartphone.

The itel S24 price in India is set at Rs 10,999 for the sole 8GB/128GB model. The handset is offered in Dawn White and Starry Black color options. itel is yet to announce pricing of its T11 Pro TWS earbuds in the country.

Customers can buy the itel S24 from Amazon starting today and other retail stores from next week. Customers who purchase the itel S24 from Amazon India can get an itel 42 smartwatch worth Rs 999 free.

The itel S24 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G91 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Additionally, up to 8GB of unused storage can be utilized as virtual RAM. The phone packs a large 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

Unfortunately, the itel S24 runs the older Android 13 version with the company's custom itel OS 13.5 skin on top. The handset also sports a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD screen with a peak brightness of 480 nits. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a 120Hz touch sampling rate.

For optics, the itel S24 features a 108 MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 primary camera sensor with 3x zoom and an f/1.6 aperture. The main camera is paired with a secondary QVGA depth sensor and LED flash. Up front, the itel s24 opts for an 8 MP selfie camera.
