Itel Set to Launch P55 and P55+ Smartphones in India on February 8

Itel has officially confirmed the launch of two new devices, the Itel P55 and P55+, scheduled to hit the Indian market on February 8, 2024.

A sneak peek into the specifications and design of these smartphones has been revealed, offering us a glimpse into what to expect.

Itel P55+

The standout feature of the Itel P55+ is its impressive 45W fast charging capability. The phone claims to charge from 0 to 70 percent in just 30 minutes, offering three charging modes. Hyper Charge ensures a rapid 25 percent battery boost in a mere 10 minutes, while Smart Charge utilizes AI to adapt charging patterns based on user habits. The Low-Temp Charge option prevents overheating during the charging process.

Additionally, the P55+ is anticipated to boast up to 16 GB of RAM, including virtual RAM, and a 50MP dual-camera system. The device's design includes a dual-tone finish with a leather-textured section.

Itel P55

The Itel P55 takes a different approach by offering users a substantial 256 GB of built-in storage, catering to those with extensive storage needs. While other details about the P55 are yet to be confirmed, the focus on ample storage makes it an appealing choice for users with large storage requirements.

Specifications of Both Devices

For those familiar with these previously released smartphones in the African market, the specifications are familiar. Both the P55 and P55+ feature a 6.56-inch HD+ 90Hz LCD panel, an 8MP front camera, Android 13, and are powered by the Unisoc T606 chip. The 5,000mAh battery, supporting 18W charging on the P55, ensures prolonged usage.

Interestingly, a third model, the Itel P55T, is expected to join the series, differing with a notable 6,000mAh battery.
