Despite being listed early on Flipkart, Chinese smartphone manufacturer iVoomi has now officially announced the launch of its second series of flagship smartphones the iVoomi i1 and iVoomi i1s in India.

"We are extremely excited to introduce 'i1' and 'i1s' as our second flagship series that resonates with a large segment of users across the country," Ashwin Bhandari, CEO, iVoomi, India said in a statement.

Well, the key highlights of the smartphones are that they come with 18:9 displays, fingerprint sensors, and dual rear cameras. The two smartphones are very similar to each other. The only difference being RAM and inbuilt storage.

In any case, let have a look at what the smartphones have to offer.

Display, Processor, RAM and Storage

Well, iVoomi i1 and iVoomi i1S come with a full-screen design and 18:9 aspect ratio display measuring 5.45 inches and carrying HD+ 1440 x 720-pixel resolution.

Both the iVoomi smartphones are powered by MediaTek MT6737m chipset but they differ in terms of RAM and storage. The iVoomi i1 offers 2GB RAM and 16GB storage while the i1S comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage space. The internal storage can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card on both the smartphones.

Other Key Features

As for the optics, the handsets feature a dual camera setup at the rear. Both the devices sport a 13MP primary RGB sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor at the rear to capture the depth of field information. Up front, there is an 8MP selfie camera on both the iVoomi smartphones.

The smartphones are both powered by a 3000mAh battery and these devices run on Android 7.0 Nougat. Connectivity options on the iVoomi i1 and i1s include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The devices measure 151x70.8x9.35mm and weigh 165 grams.

Price and Availibility

iVoomi i1 and iVoomi i1s are priced at Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 7,499 respectively. They will be available in Jade Black and Platinum Gold color variants. The smartphones are exclusive to Flipkart and will be available via flash sale method. The first sale already happened today at 12 PM and the second sale is set for January 16.
