Lava Agni 2 5G New Color Variants Launched in India: Check Price, Specification, Offers

Lava recently dropped two new versions of the Lava Agni 2 5G in India. The Agni 2 5G was unveiled earlier this year in India's mid-range segment. When it came to value for money, the Lava Agni 2 5G had few rivals.

Now, Lava has announced two new color variants of the Agni 2 5G in the country. To recall, the Lava Agni 2 5G has only been sold in a single Viridian Glass color, which is a green shade.

Lava Agni 2 5G New Color Variants

The two new Lava Agni 2 5G colors include Heather Glass (Purple Shade) and Iron Glass (Gray Shade). With the Viridian Glass (Green Shade) variant as well, this takes the total colors for the Agni 2 5G to three.

Apart from the color, other aspects of the new Lava Agni 2 5G models are the same as the original device. The Lava Agni 2 5G price in India is currently set at Rs 21,999 for the sole 8GB/256GB configuration. However, Amazon has the device listed for Rs 19,999 during as part of its ongoing Great Indian Festival sale.

Moreover, customers can also apply a coupon on the Agni 2 5G and get an additional discount of Rs 750. The Heather Glass and Iron Glass versions of the Agni 2 5G are listed on Amazon India.

Lava Agni 2 5G Specifications

The Lava Agni 2 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Additionally, up to 8GB of memory can be used as virtual RAM. The Agni 2 5G packs a 4,700 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
Lava's mid-range 5G smartphone also sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ Curved AMOLED display with double reinforced glass protection. The screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, 105% NTSC colour depth, HDR10+ support, and is L1 DRM Widevine certified.

For optics, the Lava Agni 2 5G gets a quad-camera setup with a 50 MP camera with 1.0-micron (1um) pixel size sensor. The main camera here is paired with an 8 MP ultrawide unit, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro lens. Up front, there's a 16 MP selfie camera.

The Agni 2 5G runs on stock Android 13 with Lava promising software updates till Android 15 and three years of security updates. The handset also offers support for 13 5G bands. Apart from the new colors for the Agni 2 5G, Lava also teased the launch of the Blaze 2 5G in India.
