Lava Agni 2 Price Leaked Ahead of Launch

Lava is preparing to launch the new Lava Agni 2 5G, which will succeed the Lava Agni which debuted back in 2021. The smartphone will likely make its debut alongside the Lava Blaze 1X 5G.

The Lava Agni 2 will be the first smartphone to feature the new MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor. Although the company recently teased the arrival of the smartphone, the exact launch date was not confirmed. Reports indicate that the device could arrive this month.

According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Lava Agni 2 will cost ₹19,999 in India. That's the same price as its predecessor, which launched back in November 2021. The Lava Agni came with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The Agni 2 is tipped to launch in May.

Lava Agni 2 Rumored Features

The Lava Agni 2 will reportedly feature a 6.5-inch curved AMOLED display. The screen will have a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone will likely sport an in-display scanner for security.

Yadav had earlier shared an image of the Lava Agni 2 5G, along with key specifications. The smartphone was spotted in a blue shade with a large circular camera module at the rear.

The Lava Agni 2 will feature a triple camera setup with an LED flash. The camera system will include a 50MP "AI Matrix camera" with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) at the rear. In addition, there will be a 16MP camera at the front for selfies and video calls.

The Agni 2 5G will reportedly feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, which is a rebranded version of the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor. The smartphone is expected to come with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage, just like its predecessor.

The Lava Agni 2 5G will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. The smartphone will also include a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
