Lava Blaze 1X 5G affordable smartphone launched in India: All you need to know

Lava has officially unveiled a new budget phone in India. The Lava Blaze 1X 5G has been unveiled in India under the radar as the brand gears up for the launch of the Lava Agni 2 5G.

The Lava Blaze 1X debuts as an affordable smartphone with a MediaTek chipset, large battery, glass back panel, high-refresh-rate display, stock Android software, and a triple-camera setup. The Lava Blaze 1X price in India is yet to be announced but we believe it will be priced anywhere between Rs 11,000 and Rs 14,000.

Lava Blaze 1X 5G Availability in India

The Lava Blaze 1X 5G is available with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The handset is offered in Glass Green and Glass Blue colour options. A landing page for the Lava Blaze 1X 5G has currently been set up on the company's official website.

While there is no official pricing for the Lava Blaze 1X 5G, we believe the brand will announce it sometime soon. Lava is also expected to launch the Agni 2 5G smartphone in India sometime next month, which will be tailored towards the sub-20K segment.

Lava Blaze 1X 5G Specifications

The Lava Blaze 1X 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC paired 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The phone also comes with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage that is expandable via a microSD card up to 1TB. Additionally, up to 5GB of unused storage can be utilised as Virtual RAM.

For optics, the Blaze 1X 5G gets a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor, a secondary 2 MP sensor, and a VGA lens. Up front, the Blaze 1X will opt for an 8 MP selfie camera. The rear camera system will support electronic image stabilisation (EIS) and video capture up to 2K resolution.

The Blaze 1X will sport a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and WIDEVINE L1 support. The Blaze 1X 5G is also expected to pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging over a USB-C port, although a 12W adapter will be included in the box.

The device runs stock Android 12 out of the box. The Lava Blaze 1X 5G features a side-mounted fingerprint reader and face unlock. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, 4G LTE, 5G, GPS and more. The Blaze 1X 5G weighs 207 grams and measures 8.9mm thick.
