Lava Blaze 2 5G Launched in India with a MediaTek SoC, 90Hz Display, Ring Light

The Lava Blaze 2 5G has officially been unveiled in India. The Lava Blaze 2 5G succeeds the Blaze 5G in the country's budget smartphone segment.

Moreover, the Lava Blaze 5G arrived as the most affordable 5G smartphone and its successor continues that trend. The Lava Blaze 2 5G arrives with a MediaTek chipset, 90Hz display, large battery with fast charging support, a dual-camera setup, and a glass back panel.

Lava Blaze 2 5G Price in India

The Lava Blaze 2 5G price in India is set at Rs 9,999 for the base 4GB/64GB model. Moreover, the 6GB/128GB variant will set you back Rs 10,999.

The Lava Blaze 2 5G is offered in Glass Lavender, Glass Black, and Glass Blue color options. The Blaze 2 5G will go on sale in India through Amazon, Lava's official website, and other retail channels from November 9.

Lava Blaze 2 5G Specifications

The Lava Blaze 2 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Moreover, up to 6GB of unused storage can be utilized as virtual RAM. The Lava Blaze 2 5G runs on a bloat-free version of Android 13 out of the box.

Lava has confirmed that the device will receive the Android 14 update and get a further two years of regular security updates. The Blaze 2 5G sports a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a pixel density of 269 PPI.

For optics, the Lava Blaze 2 5G features a 50 MP primary rear camera paired with a secondary lens. Additionally, the circular camera island on the back of the phone features an LED flash and a Ring Light. Up front, the Blaze 2 5G boasts an 8 MP selfie camera.

The device packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Connectivity options on the Blaze 2 5G include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a USB Type-C port, and more. The Lava Blaze 2 5G features a 3.5mm headphone jack and side-mounted fingerprint reader.
