Lava Blaze 2 Affordable Smartphone Launched in India With Unisoc T616 Chip, 90Hz Display, 18W USB-C Charging
The Lava Blaze 2 has officially been unveiled in India. The Blaze 2 debuts as an entry-level smartphone with a Unisoc chipset, virtual RAM support, fast charging via USB Type-C charging, dual-rear cameras, and a high-refresh-rate display.
The Lava Blaze 2 price in India is set at ₹10,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant. However, the phone will be available for purchase for just ₹8,999 as part of a special launch offer. The Lava Blaze 2 will go on sale in India starting April 18 at 12pm via Amazon.

Lava Blaze 2 Specifications
The Lava Blaze 2 is powered by the Unisoc T616 chipset paired with the Mali-G57 GPU. The phone comes with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Moreover, up to 5GB of unused storage can be utilized as virtual RAM.
Lava claims that the Blaze 2 can manage an AnTuTu score upwards of 250K, making it the best-performing smartphone under ₹10,000.
Lava's latest affordable smartphone sports a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a hole-punch camera cut-out. The 2.5D curved display boasts an impressive 90Hz refresh rate. On the back, the Blaze 2 gets a dual-rear camera setup with a 13 MP primary sensor and a secondary AI lens. Additionally, the hole-punch cut-out houses an 8 MP selfie camera.
The Blaze 2 also packs a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging through its USB Type-C port. For security, the phone features Face Unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The Lava Blaze 2 features a "glass back design" and comes in Glass Blue, Glass Black, and Glass Orange color options.
The Lava Blaze 2 runs on near-stock Android 12 out of the box with an anonymous call recording feature. However, Lava has promised an upgrade to Android 13 and two years of security updates with the Blaze 2. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a headphone jack, and more.
