Lava, an Indian smartphone manufacturer, has hinted at the arrival of the Lava Blaze 2. The brand has even confirmed some key specifications, features, and the design of the smartphone.

The first generation of the Lava Blaze Android smartphone was launched last year in July. Under the Blaze series, Lava has launched the Lava Blaze NXT, Lava Blaze Pro, and Lava Blaze 5G smartphones. Let's look at all the available details of the upcoming Lava Blaze 2, which should be an affordable Android smartphone.

Lava Blaze 2 Specifications, Features

Lava is gearing up to launch a new smartphone under the Blaze lineup. A microsite teasing the arrival of the Lava Blaze 2 has gone up at Amazon India.

The Amazon listing for the Lava Blaze 2 confirms the smartphone will feature a flat-edge design, similar to the first generation of the device. The listing also reveals that the smartphone will feature 128GB UFS storage and 6GB of RAM.

The Lava Blaze 2 recently surfaced on the Geekbench benchmark database which indicated the smartphone will be powered by a Unisoc processor and 6GB of RAM. Some reports suggest the device will pack the Unisoc T616 SoC, which is an entry-level 12nm octa-core chipset.

Some of the other specifications of the Lava Blaze 2 were leaked via a Tweet. According to the leak, the smartphone will be launched in a single configuration of 6GB of RAM with 5GB virtual RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The Lava Blaze 2 is rumored to feature a 6.5-inch HD+ display. The 720p screen may have a slightly higher refresh rate of 90Hz and a hole punch cutout to house a front-facing camera.

Leaked design renders of the Lava Blaze 2 suggest the smartphone will have a dual rear camera unit, which will be placed in two circular modules arranged vertically on the top left side of the back panel alongside an LED flash unit. The rear cameras are tipped to include a 13MP lens and an AI lens.

There could be an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock. The design renders do not reveal a fingerprint scanner, but Lava may embed one inside the phone's power button.

The Lava Blaze 2 is rumored to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W wired fast charging support via a USB-C port. The device should have a 3.5mm audio jack.

Some reports suggest Lava may launch the Lava Blaze 2 this month. As the teaser for the smartphone has gone live on Amazon India's website, the smartphone may be sold there exclusively.
