Lava recently confirmed details about its upcoming Blaze AMOLED 2 smartphone, although information about the launch date was still under wraps, until now. This new model follows last year's Blaze AMOLED and incorporates Lava's "Linea" design philosophy. This approach, inspired by the Latin term for "linear," focuses on precision, slimness, and user experience.

The Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 launch date in India is scheduled for August 11. The brand also confirmed that the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 price in India will start from under Rs 15,000. Lava's upcoming affordable smartphone will be offered in Midnight Black and Feather White shades.

Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 Specifications

The Blaze AMOLED 2 boasts a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. A centrally placed punch-hole cutout accommodates the selfie camera, though its resolution remains undisclosed. The phone's sleek design results from advanced internal component stacking and a custom-engineered ultra-thin housing.

Durability is enhanced by using premium-grade materials, providing the device with an IP64 rating for dust protection and limited water exposure. These features ensure that the phone is both stylish and robust. It is notably the slimmest device in its category, weighing just 174 grams and measuring only 7.55 mm thick.

Reports indicate that the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 will run on the Dimensity 7060 SoC, paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It will include an 8MP front camera, stereo speakers, and an IR blaster.
