Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 Price in India, Design, and Build Confirmed Ahead of Launch

Following the launch of the affordable Lava Blaze Dragon, the smartphone maker is now preparing to unveil yet another smartphone in the budget segment, the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2, which succeeds last year's Blaze AMOLED.

Lava has introduced its new "Linea" design philosophy, inspired by the Latin word for "linear," emphasizing precision, slimness, and user experience. Built on four pillars -Functionality, Quality, Craftsmanship, and Innovation. The phone is showcased in black and white shades.

Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 Design and Build

According to Lava, Linea reflects the brand's focus on elegant, purposeful design and seamless user interaction in its upcoming smartphones. The name underscores the meticulous craftsmanship of the LAVA Blaze AMOLED 2, which stands out as the slimmest device in its segment, weighing only 174 grams and measuring a mere 7.55 mm in thickness.

Lava credits the Blaze AMOLED 2's slim and lightweight design to advanced internal component stacking and a custom-engineered ultra-thin housing. For enhanced durability, the device is constructed using what the company refers to as premium-grade materials and is equipped with an IP64 rating, offering protection against dust and limited water exposure.

As the name suggests, the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen will also include a centrally placed punch-hole cut out for the selfie camera, although its resolution has not yet been officially disclosed.

According to reports, the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 will be powered by the Dimensity 7060 SoC and equipped with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It is expected to feature an 8MP front camera, stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

Lava has also confirmed that the Blaze AMOLED 2 will feature a 50MP Sony sensor. The brand also confirmed that the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 price in India will start from under Rs 15,000. As of now, there is no word on its availability, although we expect the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 launch in India to take place sometime in the coming weeks.
