Lava Play Max 5G Full Specifications Revealed Ahead of Launch in December: What to Expect

Lava recently dropped the Agni 4 in India, its most premium smartphone yet. However, less than a couple of weeks since its launch, and a new Lava device has already emerged. The Lava Play Max 5G is expected to make its debut in India in December.

While details about the Lava Play Max 5G are still under wraps, tipster Paras Guglani has revealed the handset in all its glory. Guglani post on X also gives us a look at the design of the Lava Play Max 5G.

Lava Play Max 5G Specifications

The Lava Play Max 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, the same chip used on the Lava Play Ultra 5G. Moreover, the Play Max will come with up to 8GB of RAM and fast UFS 3.1 storage. Additionally, the Lava Play Max 5G will also feature a vapour chamber.

For optics, the Lava Play Max 5G gets a 50MP AI camera with EIS and an unknown secondary lens. Additionally, the handset is also touted to feature a 6.72-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Lava Play Max 5G will run a clean, near-stock version of Android 15.

The Lava Play Max 5G is pictured in black and white shades. The phone sports a sleek and modern aesthetic with flat frames, likely made of durable plastic given the absence of antenna lines. On the back, the dual-camera setup is arranged vertically, highlighted by a distinctive pattern surrounding the camera module.

This design accent not only enhances the overall look but is also speculated to illuminate at night, giving the device a more premium and stylish appeal. The minimalist rear panel, combined with clean lines and a refined finish, positions the Lava Play Max 5G as one of the more polished offerings in its price segment.

Lava Play Max 5G Price in India (Expected)

Based on the specifications, we expect the Lava Play Max 5G price in India to start from under Rs 15,000. As of now, there is no official launch date, although we expect the Play Max 5G to arrive in India in the coming weeks.
