Lava Play Ultra Gaming Phone Set to Launch Soon in India; Leaked Images Reveal Design and Features
Lava seems to be on a launch spree. The homegrown brand recently introduced two new smartphones in its Blaze series. Now, it's gearing up to launch a new smartphone dubbed the Play Ultra.
While the exact launch date is still under wraps, a dedicated microsite has gone live on Amazon, confirming its availability. In addition, leaked images and key specifications of the Play Ultra have surfaced online. Here's what to expect.

Lava Play Ultra 5G India Launch Confirmed
The brand took to its official X (formerly Twitter) handle to confirm the arrival of the Lava Play Ultra 5G. It will be Lava's first-ever gaming-focused smartphone. It is being teased with the tagline "Level up your play" and the message "A new era of mobile gaming starts now."
The brand also shared a video showcasing the design in full glory, confirming its large camera module and black colour option, matching the leaked images.
Lava Play Ultra 5G - What to Expect?
While Lava hasn't disclosed the key specifications yet, leaked details online reveal the design along with its features. It appears in black and white colour options, sporting a large square camera module with the text "64MP AI Matrix Camera" engraved on it.
The phone is also expected to feature a 3.5mm audio jack and dual speakers. It's tipped to sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ Flat AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the Dimensity 7300 SoC with UFS 3.1.
On the software front, it will likely ship with Android 15 OS. For imaging, the main 64MP camera is expected to be coupled with a secondary 2MP sensor. Apart from this, nothing else is known yet, but we expect the brand will soon share more details, including the launch date.
