Lava has introduced a new addition to its 4G smartphone lineup in India — the Lava Shark 2 4G, priced at ₹6,999. The device is aimed at first-time smartphone users and young consumers seeking reliable performance, a smooth display, and clean software.

Performance and Storage

The Shark 2 4G is powered by the octa-core UNISOC T7250 processor and comes with 4GB of RAM, expandable by another 4GB through virtual memory. It includes 64GB of internal storage, designed to handle everyday tasks such as online classes, social media use, and mobile gaming without lag.

The phone runs on Android 15, free from ads and pre-installed bloatware. Lava has confirmed one major OS upgrade and two years of security updates for the device.

Display and Design

The smartphone features a 6.75-inch HD+ notch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and transitions across apps. The design has been simplified with a focus on usability, and the phone will be available in Eclipse Grey and Aurora Gold color options. It also carries an IP54 rating, providing protection against dust and minor water splashes.
