Lava Smart 4 Plus Launched in India: IP64, 5000mAh Battery, and Android 15 Go

Lava has launched the Smart 4 Plus in India today, priced at Rs 9,999. It's the first phone in the brand's new Smart series, aimed squarely at buyers looking for a dependable daily driver under Rs 10,000. The headline features are the IP64 dust and water resistance rating and the 5000mAh battery, both of which are genuinely uncommon at this price.

Display

The Smart 4 Plus has a 6.75-inch HD+ display. At this size and resolution it's clearly built for media consumption and general everyday use, and the large screen should work well for video streaming and reading.

Performance and Storage

The phone runs on a UNISOC 9863A octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM, expandable by another 4GB through virtual RAM. Internal storage is 64GB. It's not a performance-first device, but the UNISOC chip paired with Android 15 Go should keep things running smoothly for typical everyday tasks like calls, social media, and light streaming.
