Lava Smartphone with 50MP AI Camera Launching in India Soon: Here Are All The Details

Lava is gearing up to launch a new smartphone soon in India. The brand took to its official social media handle to tease the arrival of the upcoming smartphone. While the moniker is still unknown at this moment, the teaser video reveals the design and camera details of the phone. Here's what to expect from the upcoming Lava phone.

New Lava Phone Coming Soon

The teaser video shared by Lava reveals the upcoming device will feature a rectangular camera module, while the phone will have a punch-hole cutout on the front. The Lava phone is also confirmed to opt for a 50MP AI rear camera, accompanied by an LED light strip.

Apart from this, nothing is known at this moment. We expect to get more details in the coming days. As far as the launch is concerned, the smartphone is most likely to arrive early next year. The brand will soon share more details about the device.

Lava recently launched the Blaze Duo 5G smartphone in India, featuring dual AMOLED displays. In terms of specs, the smartphone features a 6.67-inch FHD+ 3D Curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while a 1.58-inch secondary display allows users to manage calls, view notifications, and take selfies with the rear camera.

The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Other features include a 64MP dual rear camera system and a 16MP selfie camera.

The Blaze Duo 5G starts in India at Rs 16,999 for the base 6GB/128GB model, while the 8GB/128GB model costs Rs 17,999. Given that, we expect the upcoming Lava phone will fall into the mid-range segment.
