Lava is gearing up to launch two new smartphones in India, namely Storm Play and Storm Lite 5G. The brand has now confirmed a few details about the upcoming devices. Let's dive into the details.

Lava Storm Play and Storm Lite 5G India Launch Likely Soon

The Lava Storm Play will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor. The device is designed for young gaming enthusiasts, which will feature segment-first LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, ensuring blazing-fast multitasking, smoother app load times, and a seamless gaming experience. The brand also says - ''Both built to offer uncompromised performance, bold design, and advanced 5G capabilities.''

Meanwhile, the Storm Lite 5G is expected to sport a 6.78-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Both the Lava Storm Play and Storm Lite 5G will be available for purchase via Amazon and the Lava E-store following their official launch. However, the exact launch date is still under wraps. We expect the brand will soon confirm the same.

These new models will join the existing Lava Storm 5G, which made its debut back in 2023, starting at Rs 13,499 for the sole 8GB/128GB model. Given that, we expect both the upcoming phones will come with affordable price tags.

To recall, the Lava Storm 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC paired with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone has a 6.78-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. For optics, the handset offers a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 16MP selfie camera. Moreover, the Lava Storm also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
