Lava Yuva Star 3 Design Leaked Ahead of Launch in India: New Camera Module and Matte Finish Spotted
Lava looks set to refresh its entry-level smartphone lineup in India with the upcoming Lava Yuva Star 3. A newly leaked image has given an early look at the phone’s rear design, suggesting a subtle visual update as the brand prepares its next budget offering.

While Lava hasn’t shared any official details yet, the leak points to a phone that sticks to a clean, practical design, in line with what the Yuva series has typically aimed for.
A Cleaner Look With a New Camera Module
The leaked image, shared by YTECHB, shows the Lava Yuva Star 3 in what appears to be a matte black finish with gently curved edges. The most noticeable change is the camera layout.
Instead of the pill-shaped module seen on the previous model, the Yuva Star 3 features a rounded rectangular camera island placed at the top-left. Inside it are two circular camera rings stacked vertically. An LED flash sits to the right of the top lens, while text on the module hints at a 13-megapixel AI camera setup. There’s also a small circular element below the flash, which appears to be either decorative or sensor-related.
On the right side of the phone, the volume buttons and power key are clearly visible, suggesting a familiar button layout.
India Launch Timeline
Beyond the black variant seen in the leak, the report suggests that Lava may offer the Yuva Star 3 in multiple colour options. However, there’s no clarity yet on how many variants will be available or when the phone will be officially announced.
What’s clear is that the Yuva Star 3 is expected to launch in India soon, continuing Lava’s push in the budget smartphone segment.
