LEAKED: Xiaomi Redmi 4 Spotted Online with Helio P10 SoC [REPORT]
It's no surprise, that the Xiaomi Redmi is one of the best line-ups currently in the smartphone market combining good hardware at a decent price range.
Amid, the launch of Xiaomi Redmi 3S in India at a price of around Rs. 6,999, the 'Apple of China' is all prepping up for its next budget smartphone, which is being talked about in the tech media world, the Xiaomi Redmi 4.
Recently, the working prototype of Xiaomi Redmi 4 has leaked online giving us the glimpse of the device. As per the leaked image, the purported Redmi 4 is expected to come with a metal body just like its predecessor.
If you have a look at the above image, two speaker grills are placed at the bottom of the smartphone with the USB port in the middle. Also, the picture shows us the camera sensor along with the fingerprint scanner on the back.
Moreover, it comes with the curvy display as well with a 2.5D glass finish, giving it a premium look.

Talking about the specifications, the so-called Redmi 4 might come with and Octa-Core Helio P10 processor clocked at 2GHz, 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM under the hood. However, there is no information about the storage expansion option yet. According to the report, the Redmi 4 is will be shipped with MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
However, it is bit surprising to see the Helio P10 processor in the Redmi 4 considering the budget of the device if it turns out to be true. Previously, the same SoC has been employed on smartphones including Micromax Yu Yunicorn, Oppo R9.
On the other hand, Lei Jun's company has launched the Redmi 3S and 3S Prime smartphones in the Indian market starting at Rs. 6,999.
These smartphones pack a 5-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, 2GB RAM with 16GB of inbuilt storage/ 3GB RAM with 32GB of inbuilt storage, 13MP/5MP camera, MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and powered by a 4,100mAh battery on board.
