Lenovo is all set to unveil a new smartphone dubbed the A7010. The alleged device was spotted on an official listing on the Lenovo's Online Store in Romania. It is apparently the successor to the Lenovo A7000 which was launched in India earlier this year.
The Lenovo A7010 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920x1080p IPS display with a pixel density of 403ppi. Under the hood the smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz octa core Mediatek 6753 SoC coupled with Mali T720 GPU. This is clubbed with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There's also a memory expansion slot (limited to 128GB).
As per the official listing the Lenovo A7010 shares most of the specs with that of its predecessor A7000 except in the processor department. Unlike the Lenovo A7000 with MT6752 the alleged device comes with a new gen MT6753 SoC on the inside.
Just like the predecessor the Lenovo A7010 also comes with Dolby Atmos sound quality. However the USP of the new device lies in the Dual Front Firing Speakers (1.5Wx2). Furthermore it comes with three microphones for improved noise cancellation. It worth noting that most mid-range to budget smartphone comes with either two or one microphones.
On the rear the Lenovo A7010 features a 13MP rear camera which comes equipped with Phase Detection Autofocus Sensor (PDAF). There's also a 5MP front facing camera for selfies. Connectivity features of the smartphone includes WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and 4G LTE support (Dual SIM). The mid-range smartphone from Lenovo is powered by a 3300mAH battery.
The Lenovo A7010 runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 with company's own Vibe UI on top. The official listing suggest that the smartphone will be available only in a Black Variant. Pricing of the smartphone however isn't available as of yet.
