Lenovo K8 Plus was launched in India back in September. The smartphone has two memory variants; one with 3GB RAM and another with 4GB of RAM. The K8 Plus with 3GB RAM was retailing for Rs. 10,999, but it has just received a price cut of Rs. 3,000. The smartphone is now available for purchase at just Rs. 7,999 on Flipkart.
Besides the discount, other offers on the Lenovo K8 Plus include no cost EMIs from Rs 2,667 per month, other EMIs from Rs. 388 per month, up to Rs. 7,500 off on exchange, additional Rs. 3,000 discount and extra 5% discount with Axis bank buzz credit cards. The 4GB RAM variant of the smartphone is also listed on Flipkart at a discounted price of Rs. 8,999. However, this model is out of stock at the moment.
As a reminder, the K8 Plus comes with a 5.2 -inch IPS display with FHD resolution and 178-degree wide viewing angle. The display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, the Lenovo smartphone makes use of an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor. The device offers either 3GB RAM or 4GB RAM depending on the variant. Both the variants have 32GB of inbuilt storage space.
The smartphone currently runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS, but it will get upgraded to Android Oreo in future. The Lenovo K8 Plus sports a dual rear camera setup that comprises of a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary depth sensor.
The primary sensor captures all the small details, and brings out vibrant colors in the picture. The secondary sensor is capable of creating images with Bokeh effect. Both the sensors carry an aperture size of f/2.0.
The front camera is an 8MP sensor that has an aperture of f/2.0, Professional Mode, Beautify Mode, and an 84-degree wide angle lens. Also, there is a Party Flash that enables clicking great selfies even in low light conditions.
The K8 Plus packs a large 4,000mAh battery unit that comes with support for Turbo Charging as well. The battery is claimed to last two days on standby, 13 hours of web browsing, 20 hours of video playback, 100 hours of music playback with headphones.
