Lenovo launches Moto Green Pomelo smartphone with 4GB RAM, 16MP selfie camera
Quite interestingly, Lenovo had sent a pomelo fruit alongside the press invite for the launch event.
Lenovo was expected to the Motorola Moto G5S in China on October 15. While the company has launched a new smartphone, it comes with a different name; Moto Green Pomelo.

Quite interestingly, Lenovo had sent a pomelo fruit alongside the press invite for the launch event. Talking about the Moto Green Pomelo itself, the smartphone looks same as the Moto G5S, but the former has a Pomelo fruit logo at the bottom of its rear panel. This suggests that it falls under a new brand line. Both devices are almost identical in terms of specs and features as well.
As such, the Moto Green Pomelo features a 5.2-inch display with the pixel density of 1080ppi. The display is further covered by a Corning Gorilla Glass for added protection. A 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor powers the device which is coupled with Adreno 505 GPU.
Coming to the differences, unlike the international variant of Moto G5S, the Moto Green Pomelo packs 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space. On the camera front, it is equipped with a 16MP camera at both the front and the back. The rear-facing camera has an aperture of f/2.0. Both cameras have LED flash.
The smartphone features a 3,000mAh battery that supports 15W turbo-power charging. Other than that, the Moto Green Pomelo has a front-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 4.2, and hybrid dual-SIM support.
As for software, the device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS with the touch of ZUI 3.1. Available in Cool Black and Rose Gold colors, the Moto Green Pomelo carries a price tag of 1,599 Yuan which roughly translates to Rs. 15,750.
Meanwhile, Lenovo has also launched the Midnight Blue color variant of the Moto G5S in India.
