In case the recently launched 5.7 inch Samsung Galaxy Note5 was too small for you, then Chinese OEM Lenovo has something that may entice you. The company has launched a device with 6.8 inch display. And gues what, they are calling it a Phab Plus..
The Phab Plus is an adept name for a device as big as this. Just a few years back a 7 inch device was considered a tablet, but now due to reduction in uneccessary bezels, mobile OEMs are fitting such large screens in pretty small form factors.
Nevertheless the new Lenovo Phab Plus is a joy for phablet lovers. With a 6.8 inch Full HD (1920x1080) display and octacore Snapdragon 615 with each cores clocked at 1.5GHz the Lenovo's so called phablet has all what it takes to make its mark in the mid range phablet market. Add to that the presence of 2GB of RAM along with 32GB of onboard storage. Memory expansion facility is also available via MicroSD card slot.
The PhabPlus features a 13MP Omnivision camera with Dual LED Flash. On the front is a 5MP front shooter.
Considering the large display size, Lenovo have bundled in a failrly large battery with the phablet -3500mAh. This mayn't be as large as the 5000mAh battery supposed to don the Vibe P1,but its definitely enough to keep it running for a day or two of heavy usage.
As of now, the phablet running on Android Lollipop will be available only in China for approximately $406. Lenovo hasn't announced any plans to bring to its international market as of now though.
