Nowadays, creating an offspring brand from the parent brand seems to be the trend. In that line, the new Chinese smartphone brand called as Zuk was unveiled few days back.
Backed by Lenovo and a software company called 360, Zuk is planning to unveil its first high-end smartphone dubbed as Z1 on August 11. This device comes with Cyanogen Mod OS along with some other premium features such as fingerprint scanner, HD screen and huge battery life
Moreover, the company's portfolio includes the likes of other gadgets like air fresheners, next generation routers, smart accessories.
And the company,wants to make sure that Zuk is known for software pioneer in smartphones to take on brands like Xiaomi, One Plus.
Zuk Z1 - Expected Specifications
Zuk Z1 will sport a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. This phone will be powered with 2GHz of Qualcomm's Octa Core Processor with Mali 670 MP2 GPU and 3GB RAM.
Shipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, the Zuk Z1 will be coming in two variants which includes 16/32GB of inbuilt memory.
Moving to the camera, it comes with latest generation 13MP rear camera with a resolution of 4160 x 3120 and LED flash, 5MP of front facing camera.
On the connectivity, this device includes 4G, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and dual SIM slot. The whole hardware is powered by a 3140mAh battery under the hood.
Moreover, Zuk Z1 comes in Blue, Green, Pink, White and Yellow color options. As of now there is no official announcement on the pricing, meanwhile we are expecting somewhere around 1999 yuan or less than that.
In the current scenario, lots of Chinese handset makers throwing their device with high-end specifications at an affordable price. It would be interesting to see the Chinese smartphone makers competing against each other in the upcoming days with hell lots of releases.
