Lenovo Zuk Z2 Plus Teased to be Coming Soon to India: Everything We Know About It
Lenovo is planning to launch the Zuk Z2 Plus in India, which is dubbed as the Zuk Z2 internationally. The smartphone is teased by the Lenovo India on Twitter.
The tweet was posted yesterday with an image attached saying that 'Impatience is a virtue'. Also, the text on the image is imposed by the letter 'Z', which revealed that the company is planning to bring the Lenovo Z2 Plus to India.
However, the news was further confirmed by NDTV Gadgets by saying that they received an email from Lenovo folks saying that the smartphone is the Zuk Z2 Plus.

The Lenovo Z1 which was released nearly 5 months ago created a lot of buzz in the Indian market as for a good time, the smartphone stood as the true rival against the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. Having said that, the Z1 packed some impressive set of specs such as Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB of RAM, etc.

Also, the Zuk Z2 was made official in some markets some months ago and we already know the specifications of the smartphone, since it is already available China. That said, Lenovo might change the internal hardware of the smartphone, but here're the specifications of the Zuk Z2.
A 5-inch FHD display
The Lenovo Zuk Z2 features a 5-inch 1080p display and also has a 2.5D curved glass. Lenovo further added anti-oil and anti-fingerprint protection to the smartphone.
Latest Snapdragon 820 SoC and 4GB of RAM
The Lenovo Z2 features the flagship chipset from Qualcomm. It is a 64-bit Snapdragon 820 processor along with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Also, there is an Adreno 530 GPU to take up the graphic intensive tasks.
Powerful Cameras
The Lenovo Zuk Z2 comes with a 13MP rear camera with support for PDAF and single tone LED flash. Also, there is an 8MP front facing camera to cover up the selfies.
Large Battery
Lenovo packed a bigger 3500mAh battery with the Zuk Z2. The Zuk Z1 shipped with relatively smaller battery but impressed many with its battery life.
4G LTE Support
At the time of its launch back in May in China, Lenovo has already added support for Indian band 40 support in the Zuk Z2. So, it might be possible that the smartphone will arrive without any changes.
Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, Type-C port, USB-OTG, and an aided GPS chip for location tracking.
Pricing, Colors, and Availability
The Zuk Z2 was launched in China for CNY 1,799 which roughly converts to Rs. 18,000. We expect the smartphone pricing to be somewhere in between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000. If Lenovo releases in this price bracket, it will be the cheapest smartphone to come with Snapdragon 820 processor.
In the teaser, Lenovo India didn't mention any official release date, however, we expect the launch will be sometime in the second week of September. Also, the smartphone was made available in black and white color variants in China.
