LG announces a huge discount on its LG G6 handset

It is now available at a price of Rs. 37,990 in India. Further, the new price is applicable on both online and offline purchases of the smartphone.

Previously the smartphone had got a huge price cut of about Rs. 10,000 where the price of the smartphone reached Rs. 41,999 on Amazon India. LG G6 was launched at Rs. Rs. 51,990. The LG G6 was also made available at Rs. 38,990 for Amazon Prime subscribers as a limited time offer.

The LG G6 comes with a 5.7-inch FullVision display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a resolution of 1440x2880 pixels. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC which is paired with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The LG G6 comes with two storage (32GB and 64GB) variants. The storage is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.

The handset comes with dual camera setup at the rear and includes two 13-megapixel sensors. One sensor is used for wide-angle shots with 125-degree lens and f/2.4 aperture, and the other for regular shots with 71-degree lens and OIS 2.0 technology. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 100-degree lens.

The LG G6 is backed by a 3300mAh battery and it runs on Android Nougat. Connectivity options includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0. The device measures 148.9x71.9x7.9mm and weighs in at 163 grams.
