LG G Pad 5 10.1 With Beefy 8,200mAh Battery, SD 810 SoC Now Official
LG has launched a new mid-range tablet dubbed LG G Pad 10.1. The tablet leaked recently along with some key specifications such as a massive 8,200 mAh battery unit and a single camera both at the rear and the front. The device has launched with the hardware tipped by the leaks. Following are the details:

The LG G Pad 5 10.1 is equipped with a 10.1-inch LCD panel that has an FHD+ resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a 178-degree viewing angle. There is no notch on the top and the selfie camera is placed inside the top bezel. The bezels are slightly thick; specifically at the top and the chin.
The tablet makes use of a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset which has 1.GHz clock speed. The chipset is clubbed with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB UFS 2.0 internal storage. The device supports up to 512GB external microSD card. In the software department, it will ship with an Android Pie OS.
For imaging, the tablet packs a single camera sensor both at the rear and front. While, the rear panel houses an 8MP camera, the front packs a 5MP sensor for selfies and video calls. The cameras are pretty basic and don't offer any specific highlight feature.
Connectivity aspects include a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port placed at the top and bottom panel respectively. For security, the device comes with a fingerprint scanner mounted on the right-panel alongside the power and volume keys.
The major highlight of this tablet is a massive 8,200 mAh battery unit. Supporting it is a Qualcomm 3.0 Quick Charging technology. It worth noting that even with such a massive battery, the tablet offers a compact form factor.
It has 247.2mm x 150.7mm x 8 mm dimensions and weighs just 498gms. Currently, LG has not tipped the availability of the G Pad 5 10.1 in India and other markets. But, we might get some information going forward.
