LG was rumored to be working on a Super Premium smartphone, till about a few days back when LG Electronics' head of Mobile Communications, during a quarterly results presentation, denied of ever mentioning a "Super Premium" device in the making.
There may not be an ultra premium phone in the pipeline, but the company did hint a premium device for the rest of this year. The LG's director for mobile mentioned that this will be a high-end handset, slated for Q4 release. Seems like, this mysterious phone is none other than the rumored G4 Pro!
Now there are reports coming from Korean publications about the specifications of this yet to be announced smartphone. As per the suggested specifications, this phone will come with a larger display to take on Samsung's recently launched Note 5, Sony's upcoming Xperia Z5 and Apple's much awaited iPhone 6S Plus.
The LG's upcoming phone, likely to be called the LG4 Pro, is expected to features a 5.8-inch IPS-LCD display. It is speculated that the phone will be more powerful than the LG G4, hence is likely to run on either Snapdragon 820 chipset or Snapdragon 810 paired with a huge 4GB of DDR4 RAM. However, considering that the chances of Snapdragon 820 to get launched are highly unlikely, we expect Snapdragon 810 to power this smartphone.
What comes as a surprise is that this phone will feature a dual camera setup that will be its key feature, as speculated by Korean publications. While there is still no confirmation on the specifications, we say you should take this with a pinch of salt!
