LG G5 to Come With Secondary Ticker Display [Report]

Following the LG V10 and X Screen, the recent report confirms that the yet-to-be-launched LG G5 will also have a secondary ticker display. As per the famous leaker Evan Blass, the so-called LG G5 will be sporting a secondary display and he has confirmed it after seeing the device directly.

With the 'Always on' feature, it allows users to easily access frequently used apps, answer calls without interrupting the current activity or just play music.It also lets users check time, date, battery status and other notifications without unlocking the phone.

As of now, there are no details about the specifications about the upcoming LG G5. Back in December, a Weibo user by the name of Zealer has posted that the LG G5 could be a 5.6-inch screen with a 1440x2560 resolution.

The post which is written in Chinese states that the LG G5 could have a Snapdragon 820 SoC, a Quad Core CPU and an Adreno 530 GPU.

The device could have a 21-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapxiel camera on the front for selfies and video chats. Rumors also suggested that the LG G5 will also have an Iris Retina scanner.

However, the LG will be announcing its G5 smartphone on February 21st at 2PM, in Barcelona, Spain.
