    LG has moved away from plastic to a premium design with the current flagship LG G4. The current flagship came in variety of back design. The LG G4 sported a leather back, but it wasn't visually pleasing as the metal HTC One M9 or iPhone 6.

    Many new smartphone are now coming with fingerprint scanner, but so far LG has not incorporated fingerprint in any of its flagship. However, the LG G5 is rumored to come with fingerprint scanner on the signature back button.

    We have seen the curved smartphone the LG G Flex 2. But now the company is yet to crack more innovative curves something similar to the Galaxy S6 Edge.

    The current flagship is all about design, display and camera. The LG G4 display is simply mind-blowing with a 5.5 inch Quad HD IPS Quantum screen housing a resolution of 1440x2560 with 538 PPI and a contrast ratio of 1500:1.

    But with the LG G5, it is rumored that the company might come up with 4K resolution display.


    Almost every flagship smartphone in the market are coming with non-removable battery. But the current LG's flagship comes with a removable battery, which makes it as a key selling point. It is expected that the next flagship will also come with removable battery along with better battery life.

    The LG G4 has an impressive camera with more innovative camera features. But rumors suggests that the LG G5 will incorporate a better and speedy camera.
