LG G5 rumored to have retina scanner, SD-820 SoC and 21MP rear camera

    LG released two high end phones last year - the LG G4 and the LG V10. A Weibo post has revealed what could be the specifications for the LG G5. Now, it better this is taken more on a lighter note as the LG G5 could be a smartphone in the making from LG.

    A Weibo user by the name of Zealer has posted that the LG G5 could be a 5.6" screen with a 1440x2560 resolution. The post which is written in Chinese states that the LG G5 could have a Snapdragon 820 SoC, a Quad Core CPU and an Adreno 530 GPU. The device touted to be the LG G5 could have a 21MP rear camera and a 8MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats. Rumors also suggested that the LG G5 will also have an Iris Retina scanner.

    The LG G5 is expected only next year. This is the same time around when the Samsung Galaxy S7 is also expected. Speculations of the Samsung Galaxy S7 too have been rife with speculations on the possible specifications that the device could be powered with. The LG G4 was unveiled in April this year. So despite a launch in February, we can still expect the device to globally launch only in LG G5.
