Ever since the advent of the iPhone X, several OEMs have blatantly copied the notch design. LG also seems to have joined the bandwagon and is expected to implement the notch with the G7.

But the folks at TechRadar have reported that the notch would be optional. According to the video they reviewed, the feature can be switched off through the phone's software setting, allowing them to hide it behind a virtual bezel.
