LG G7 ThinQ, LG's upcoming flagship is all set to launch on May 2. LG has finally confirmed the news by sending out press invites for the launch event. Since the G7 ThinQ has already appeared in countless leaks and rumors, we have a fair idea of what will the smartphone bring to the table.

LG G7 ThinQ leaked render shows iPhone X-like notch, dual rear cameras

With just about a week left for the launch, serial leakster Evan Blass took to Twitter to post a fresh render of the LG G7 ThinQ. Unlike the one leaked by Blass last week, the new render allows us to take a look at the smartphone from all angles. The image shows the G7 ThinQ featuring a full-screen design with a notched display just like the iPhone X.

The notch appears to house the selfie camera, in-call speaker along with an ambient sensor and a proximity sensor. While the bottom bezel doesn't house anything, it is relatively thicker than other bezels.

At the rear panel, the G7 ThinQ has a vertically stacked dual rear camera setup placed towards the top-center. The cameras are accompanied by a LED flash module at the left. If you go down a little, you can spot the circular fingerprint scanner followed by the G7 ThinQ logo.

The top side of the handset features the SIM tray, whereas the bottom edge features the 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port and an external speaker. There is dedicated Google Assistant button as well as the volume controllers on the left side, and on the right side, there is the power button.

As far as specifications go, the LG G7 ThinQ is likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. However, we expect the smartphone to have another variant with more storage.

The smartphone's dual rear camera setup will is believed to make use of two 16-megapixel sensors. One will be equipped with an RGB lens with an aperture size of f/1.6, another will be equipped with a 107-degree wide-angle lens.

Like LG's V30S ThinQ phone, the camera on G7 ThinQ will also have AI capabilities. The camera will be able to analyze subjects in the frame and recommend the optimal shooting mode among various categories.
