LG V30 video teaser released ahead of August 31 launch
Today will be all about Samsung's latest release, the Galaxy Note8. But that hasn't stopped LG from creating more hype for its upcoming V30 handset.
Well, Samsung has just unveiled its new flagship device the Galaxy Note 8 at an event in New York. While the smartphone has now been launched, many other companies like Apple and LG are also gearing up to launch their flagship phones in the days to come.
Amidst this exciting times, Samsung's close competitor LG has also been launching new smartphones around the same time and we can all figure out what LG's intentions are. Basically, the company wants to counter Samsung's move.
And Samsung has made the first move this time. But as the sale of the new Galaxy Note 8 will take some time, LG will most likely launch its flagship before that. Besides, LG V30 is expected to be officially introduced on August 31, one week after the Galaxy Note 8.
That being said, LG has been continually posting teasers about its upcoming smartphone the LG V30 that further hint at what its flagship might be bringing to the table. While the company has been "spamming" us with teasers, most of it has been directed towards Samsung and the Note 8. The company sort of makes fun of the Note 8 features.
However, the company has yet again released a short video teaser ad this time it doesn't make fun of any competitors. The new video is basically meant just to raise the hype around the upcoming smartphone.
Talking more about the new video, it does not exactly reveal the phone itself, or any part of it. The video shows images with plenty of colors in them. We are guessing that LG is hinting towards the V30's display. LG V30 is said to come with a 6-inch P-OLED panel which will be a full vision display. So the display could be more vibrant and colorful and at the same time will provide a good viewing experience. That is pretty much it that we can make out from the video.
As for leaks and rumors, the LG V30 is expected to ship with 6GB of RAM, and arrive in multiple internal storage models. The smartphone will likely be powered by a Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor. The LG V30 will be made out of metal and glass like the LG G6. LG V30 will also likely come pre-installed with Android 7.1.1 Nougat and the device should get fast charging, Bluetooth 5.0 and more.
The device is launching in about a week, so we'll get to know everything including the pricing and availability of the device soon.
