Looking for budget smartphones: Micromax Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 launched in India
With the new launches, Micromax is firming up its 4G VoLTE portfolio and expanding the Bharat series in India.
Firming up its 4G VoLTE portfolio and expanding the Bharat series, Micromax the local smartphone manufacturer has just launched 2 new smartphones - Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 in India.
"Continuing the Micromax legacy, the devices would help the Indian consumers to unlock the true potential of VoLTE and make the experience more affordable and accessible." said the company in a media release. Further Micromax has partnered with MediaTek to enable both the phones to support quality camera images and graphics. "The strategic collaboration with MediaTek is a unique proposition to the users across the country, to accelerate the next phase of smartphone adoption in the country and helping consumers upgrade to quality entry-level smartphones," the company added.
The new Micromax Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 smartphones come with some of the compelling features in the budget category including a Smart Key, 22 Indian languages support, OTG Support, latest Android N and much more.
Micromax Bharat 3
This model comes with a 4.5-inch TFT screen (480x854 resolution) along with a 2.5D Glass on top. The handset is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. Micromax Bharat 3 offers 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
As for the cameras, the smartphone is equipped with 5MP cameras both at the front and the back along with a flash, f 2.4 aperture and Auto Focus. Further, the device is backed by a 2000mAh battery with a standby of up to 6-7 talking time. Bharat 3 runs on Android Nougat 7.0.
The dual-SIM phone also boasts of a smart key that enables users to take screen shots, click pictures and switch the phone into silent mode. As per the company, the handset comes with a feature that optimizes power consumption of the device and thus users can save up to 30 percent power.
Micromax Bharat 4
This model comes with a 5-inch HD TFT display (720x1280 resolution) along with a 2.5D Glass on top. "Bharat 4 offers a better viewing experience and its compact size and sturdy body creates an ergonomic grip which enables comfortable one-handed operation," the company said.
The handset is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor which is paired with 1GB or RAM. Micromax Bharat 4 offers 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
Talking about the cameras, this smartphone is also equipped with 5MP cameras both at the front and the back along with a flash, f 2.4 aperture and Auto Focus. The device is backed by a 2500mAh battery with a standby of up to 7-8 hrs talking time. Bharat 4 runs on Android Nougat 7.0 as well.
The dual-SIM phone also boasts of a smart key that enables users to take screen shots, click pictures and switch the phone into silent mode. The smartphone measures 144.5x73x9mm and weighs around 150g.
Price and Availability
Micromax Bharat 3 is priced at Rs. 4,499 while Bharat 4 is priced at 4,999. Both the smartphones will be available in offline stores starting 18 September 2017.
